The article deals with the actual problem of integration of the educational content of the discipline "Professional Pedagogy" and the educational module "Organization of volunteering". Integration is considered at the level of science, theory and the applied part – types of activity. An attempt is made to define a single object-subject sphere of the study of integrated material – the activity approach.
