The article examines the experience of using aviation in agriculture during the USSR period, describes the advantages and disadvantages of classical aviation and unmanned aerial vehicles, and identifies the advantages of the aviation method of crop processing. It has been established that the integrated use of classical aviation and UAVs in agriculture is capable of solving a number of complex tasks, which will contribute to the development of the industry, increase the volume of crop production.
