The Russian market of organic products is just beginning to revive and is at the initial stage of its development. At first, the organic market consisted of 100% imported products from countries such as Italy, Germany, and France. Starting from 2013, a domestic manufacturer is gradually appearing on the market of organic products. Due to the economic downturn in the country and the food embargo in 2014, in 2015 – 2016, the market for organic domestic products developed quite slowly and increased by no more than 3% per year. And if we talk about Russia's share in the world market of organic products, it is 0.2 %. Today, the United States (45%), Germany (14%), and France (8%) are leading the global organic market. In Russia, only a small number of companies are engaged in organic products. We have already said that this is a group of companies of the "Agranta" brand and the "Organic" Corporation. The global movement for the promotion of organic agriculture includes more than 750 organizations from 108 countries and claims that it is a production system that supports the state of the soil, ecosystem and people, taking into account local conditions. Organic farming is considered to be a reasonable alternative in the face of a worsening climate and environmental degradation. Currently, almost 200 countries use organic farming. Leaders in the production of organic agricultural products can be called Western Europe and North America, and the main consumers of these products are the United States, Germany, great Britain and France. In these countries, there are systems of legal regulation of organic agriculture. Organic agriculture in Russia is very poorly developed, although there are prospects, of course. There are more than 20 million hectares of agricultural land in the country, where agrochemicals have not been used in the last few years. It is on these lands that organic agricultural production should be introduced.
